Just a little clip I've been messing around with as part of the trailer... It is coming very slow, but because UMAF competition stuff is close to over, I should be able to get back to working on this That middle part where the camera pans up the mountain and there is a random 'ball' moving around is actually just a guideline for where the ringtail's head is supposed to be as it is leaping and climbing. Hopefully the clip repeats for you. Its being a little finicky on my computer. Anyone wanna venture a guess who the bird is? (hint: IT is one of the main characterssssss.) Hey! this is the first time I've done any sort of bird related animation! (even though it is just rough right now). how'd I do?
Please do not use without permission. All contents (animation, characters etc.) are (C) to me.
If there are any issues with displaying, tell me. I'll try to fix what I can.
It looks nice so far. The movement of the frames is very smooth and follows the characters well. I look forward to seeing what comes out of this.
Oh, and we looked at your UMAF entries (along with many others) in Animation a couple days ago. People are kind of ignorant when it comes to ringtails, -__- but my animation teacher was very fond of your Bassarisk Opening. He loved the way the characters moved and believed it could win if colored. I was just happy to whisper "I know her!" to my confused classmates as we looked at your work.
0.0' sadly yes, most people have never even heard of ringtails. -.- That's nice of him! Is he going to UMAF? My teacher is, but she said sometimes teachers aren't avalible to go. Yeah, if I had actually gotten around to finishing it, I might have had a better chance at winning, but I overloaded myself with projects. Oh well. I honestly think you are going to win best in show. :3 Wish we had gone through the entries as a class! that would have been fun! BTW, I wanna know the backstory for your animation, so either you tell me online, or you tell me at the comp.
Backstory? Erm...I'm not really sure there was one. My partner came up with the idea, and I still don't really understand it. The only thing I can gather is that our animation is supposed to be about an arrow-shooting girl and her bunny-dog companion that live deep in woods....or something.
